Requests for Print Advertisements

As with all aspects of our business, we at Gardners Candies are well aware of the community and regional support that has contributed to our success over the years. This compels us to give back in as many ways as possible, including the purchase of advertisements in community and school publications and other media that help support various local organizations and causes.

Because of the numerous requests that we receive daily and the constantly expanding needs that present themselves, we have to establish some criteria for deciding which of these many requests we can honor. While it is impossible to say “yes” to all, we strive to support as many beneficial causes as we can, giving first priority to the advertisements connected to the more than 3,000 groups that participate in our fundraising programs.

Qualifications for Paid Advertisements

Please be sure that your cause meets these criteria before filling out the online application.

• You must be a current fundraising group using a Gardners Candies holiday brochure, online ordering, candy bar or pretzel rod programs.
• One request per charitable organization will be accepted within a 12-month period.
• All requests must be received at least 6 weeks prior to the publication deadline.
• Online form(s) must be complete to be considered.
• Requests received by phone, fax or mail will not be considered.
• Monetary requests will not be considered.
• Ads for individuals will not be considered.

We will send an e-mail response within one week of receiving the request if you qualify. It is not necessary to follow-up with a phone call or email.
If you do not receive an email confirming your request, you did not meet our criteria for giving advertising.
